Jack Jones has been a member of Thackerville Community Church since 1996 and a part of the Senior Leadership Team for the last seven years . He is a graduate of Gainesville High School and is still a resident of Texas. He is currently a sergeant within the criminal investigations division of the Gainesville Texas Police Department. He has served the City of Gainesville as a police officer since 2001. He was introduced to TCC by his wife of 25+years, Dustie Jones, who grew up in Thackerville. They have two adult children Karli and Marshall Jones. Jack and his Wife own a licensed child care center in Lindsay, Texas where their daughter, after graduating from Texas Tech, became the Director of the center. Their son is a Cooke County EMT and certified firefighter, pursuing his career in first responding. Jack is currently an Elder in the church and takes this leadership role very seriously.. He enjoys being outdoors camping, hunting, and fishing and also outdoor cooking for large venues and catering. Volunteering is a passion for him including previously serving on the CASA of North Texas board for seven years. Jack’s heart for pursuing people translates in every aspect of his life whether it be in the community or specifically in a capacity for the church congregation. Jack leads by example as someone who values Faith, family, and friends as his highest priorities.
